KNOWLEDGE TEST $25
The KNOWLEDGE TEST is a 40 question, multiple choice test based on the WA Driver Guide.
Applicants must answer 32 questions correctly to pass (a score of 80%).
The test is provided to us by the Dept. of Licensing.
To prepare for the knowledge test study the Washington Driver
Guide on the Department of Licensing website or pick up a guide at any Dept. of Licensing office (on Wynne St. in Colville).
We offer the Knowledge Test in English, Spanish, Russian, and Chinese.
To set up a time to take the Knowledge Test call for an appointment 684-3164. Please leave a
message. If there is no answer we are driving with students or conducting testing.
Have your WA ID, permit or license number or pre-application number handy when you call.
$75 using a Road Scholar vehicle (must posess a
current learner permit or license )
no charge for Road Scholar students to use the school's
The vehicle must have- Proof of current liability insurance

When you are ready to schedule the test, call the office 684-3164. Please have your WA State permit, license or ID number handy so we can look your information
up on the state database.
If you are under the age of 18, you are required to have completed a driver education course and passed the Knowledge Test within the last 2 years, before you can do
a drive test!
If you are over the age of 18 you must take and pass the Knowledge Test (within the last 2 years) before you can schedule a drive test.
If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment, you must notify Road Scholar at least 24 hours in advance. If you
schedule an appointment and do not show up, are unprepared for the test or cancel at the last minute, you may be asked to prepay to schedule another appointment.
